Abrasive Wheels
Buehler carries a wide range of different metallographic abrasive blades for sectioning machines that can be used for many different applications. Our abrasive blades for precision cutters have diameter ranges from 5 in (127 mm) to 7.9in (200mm) while our abrasive blades for abrasive cutters have diameter ranges from 10in (254mm) to 18 in (455 mm) and an arbor size of 1.25 in (31.75 mm).
Our abrasive blades are frequently used for sectioning many different materials including but not limited to ferrous materials, soft, medium, hard, and tool steel, stainless steel, super alloys, titanium alloys, and zirconium alloys.
NEW Premium Resin Abrasive Blades
Designed for longer lifetime, these blades are a step above typical resin-bonded blades. These blades effectively cut through samples with high quality while lasting up to 3 times longer than a typical blade.
Resin-Bonded blades
Buehler’s line of resin blades are designed to give a good cut quality while eliminating the odor typical in rubber-bonded blades.
Rubber-Bonded blades
Buehler’s line of Rubber bonded blades are designed to give a high cut quality and provide good lifetime. These blades are available for Chop cut and Orbital cutting types.
AcuThin blades
Buehler’s line of AcuThin blades are the thinnest abrasive blades we offer. These rubber-bonded blades are designed to provide a high-quality cut while significantly minimizing material lost in the cutting process.
