3M Novec Aerosol
3M Novec aerosol cleaners are a revolutionary line of non-flammable spray cleaning solvents that combine effective cleaning performance with a wide margin of workplace safety and a favorable environmental profile. Based on a proprietary 3M solvent technology, Novec aerosol cleaners are low in toxicity, non-ozone-depleting, and contain no HCFCs, HFCs, nPB, or hazardous air pollutants (HAPs). Novec aerosol cleaners are non-corrosive and compatible with nearly all materials used in electronics manufacturing. They are available in five formulations for use in a wide range of maintenance, rework, and repair operations.
The five formulations are Contact Cleaner, Contact Cleaner/Lubricant, Contact Cleaner Plus, Electronic Degreaser, and Flux Remover.
3M Novec Contact Cleaner effectively removes light oils, greases, silicones, dust, and particulates from sensitive electrical and electronic equipment. It is compatible with plastics, is non-flammable, and is ideal for use on energized components.
